As well as being part of an award-winning hairdressing team, you will earn a salary while you learn how to become a great stylist.
We are proud to have our very own dedicated in-house academy at our Mova salon in Staines-upon-Thames. We offer staff the highest levels of training in classic cutting, styling and colouring techniques.
Mova’s Diploma Course is a step-by-step progression through the NVQ curriculum, with classes every Monday in our in-house school. This intensive course includes theory, salon demonstrations and practical, hands-on experience in the salon using live models. Students are taken through each individual module meticulously, developing the precise skills required to become a qualified hairdresser with an NVQ qualification at the end of the course.
Diploma students also attend seminars and workshops run by our professional product range suppliers. These are an essential part of the syllabus and cover topics such as client care, consultations, product care and advice, giving the students an insight into their future contribution to the effective running of the salon and essential customer care and service.
